Are you planning on buying gifts for friends and family this
holiday season? Are you wondering where in your budget your
are going to get the cash from?

1.Consider taking a part-time job, if  you can find one, that is.
Though many retailers are not offering the part-time jobs they
once were at holiday season, you can try other alternatives.
Consider UPS or another postal or package delivery company.
Don't forget to scour your local classified ads or check
kijiji.com
or
craigslist for employment opportunities.

2.Do you love to shop? Why not get things for free and get paid
on top of that. Mystery or Secret shopping is an option. Essentially
what you are doing is reporting on your shopping experience and
earning a few bucks for it. For details on
Mystery Shopping, you
can get all the info you need
here.

3. Dress up as Santa, Mrs. Claus or even an Elf. Check with the
local malls to see if they have available North Pole helper
positions. If you don't like kids, I highly suggest skipping this one.

If there are no positions available in your area, consider starting a
holiday or seasonal business of your own.

4.Even in you have just a smidge of creativity, you can whip up a
gift basket business. Make a few baskets, show them to friends,
relatives, church members and spread the word that you will be
making and selling them for the holiday season. Try theme
baskets, such as family movie night  dinner for two or teacher
appreciation basket.  Make up some inexpensive business cards
and hand them out wherever you go. Advertise for free on
craigslist or kijiji.com. You could even sell them on Ebay.

5.What about cake or pie baking? Everyone eats sweets during the
holidays. Why not make them yourself and turn a profit. You
could make everything from cakes and pies to cookies and
candies. Again, spread the word to everyone you know.

5. Do you love taking pictures? Offer your services for the
holidays at a fraction of what the pros charge. It not only earns
you a little green, but saves your customers a ton as well. You can
simply go to their house and take so photos. Print them up via an
online web service:
Photoworks, Shutterfly, Walmart, CVS, etc.

6. Offer your home up for one or two afternoons as a holiday
daycare. Watch a few kids for a few hours to earn a chunk of
change. Set a specific day and time, spread the word and maybe
even pass out a few fliers to the neighborhood.

Think out of the box and you can find lots of ways to earn some
cash! Happy Holidays!!
