Work from Home

We all want to find a way to work from home. Do you have a picture in
your mind of working from home and actually
making a living in
your pajamas?
Sounds wonderful, doesn't it?  It is a possibility but
you have to know where to look to find legitimate work at home
opportunities or online businesses.

Here are a few work from home employers,
www.Alplineaccess.com
www.vipdesk.com
www.liveops.com
www.arise.com
www.westathome.com
Most of these are customer service positions or virtual assistant jobs.
You generally need to commit a certain number of hours per day or
week.

Mystery Shopping or Secret Shopping  is a way to earn a few extra
bucks as well. You are basically reviewing a company's customer
service. You are paid per job. For more info on mystery shopping

Some other options for working from home would be operating your
own online store with NO inventory. A few options for that
avenue are,
www.family-moment.com an online Christian bookstore,
www.cafepress.com
a design and print company and
www.iwdsc.com
, they have two options, using them as a wholesale
company where you keep your own inventory on hand or as a
dropshipping company.

Another option is running an
ebay store.  You either have inventory
on hand or use a
dropshipping company. For more information on
those options, visit my
ebay tips page.
A free alternative to ebay is
eCrater.com. They offer you a free
online store to sell our items. You are in control of the products you
sell and for how much. This isn't an auction site however. Items sell for
a flat rate. You can use PayPal or Google Checkout to accept
payment.
eCrater also submits your listing to Google search for free.

Then there are the old stand by home businesses that have been
around a long time....for example
Avon, Tupperware,Pampered
Chef, and Mary Kay.  With these businesses, you generally have to
buy a few things to start up.  A few books or catalogs or samples to
have on hand and share with potential customers. You may be
required to host parties to show off your products and let customers
try them.  This can be a successful business for you if you really put
forth an effort. You have to go out there and "sell" your stuff.
Promote your products through others as well as an online store that
most of these companies provide for you at a nominal monthly
charge.
Another route would be to consider your own personal talents or skills.
What are you good at? Do you like to bake? Does everyone request your famous coconut cake? Turn it
into a
baking business.  Are you crafty? Do you make your own jewelry or design wedding favors? Go to
ETSY.com and sell your wares.
Are you a natural caregiver?  Do you like to help people? Turn that skill into a job.
Take care of elderly or disabled persons in their home. Or run errands for others. Clean houses, act as a
personal assistant.
Do you like to take pictures of everyone and everything?  Why not think about turning that hobby into a
photography business?
You like to do
scrapbooking?  Offer your services to others who just don't have the time.
Enjoy taking care of kids?  Run your own
home daycare.
The possibilities are endless!

***Keep in mind, when running a business from your home, you should look into what your city/county/state require as
far as business licences,etc.
